My dogs both loved this meal right from the start. They have both been on kibble and one of them is a very picky eater and the other just had surgery and is still finishing up her meds which are known ro stop them up. They both devoured this new food and unlike other brands we tried in the past it didnt give them the runs or even give them gas surprisingly. Yes the price is a little steep, but 1-it doesnt smell have the same gut wrenching smell that you have to breath through your mouth while you prepare it, 2-the websites feeding calculator takes the guess work out of how much they should be eating daily and it does this for each phase of starting them up on fresh foods, 3-(for my girls and their weight) the packages measure out perfectly to the amount they need daily, and 4-when prepping it for them I could see the difference in food quality versus other brands (it didn’t come out like the meat roll brands and didn’t require hardly any break up with a fork). I will say that it is also a big plus that unlike some of the other brands they offer more variety in the recipes and offer some geared to address a variety of goals like gut health, skin and coat, etc if your pup requires any special diet. If you are like me and do research deep dives into brands, ratings, and top ranked, this brand did not pop up (at the time of this review), but having my current vet and one of my good friend’s wife that is also a vet/nutritionalist recommending them made it worth trying, and I have not been disappointed.
