Most fresh brands don’t. Someone else makes the food. Sometimes, someone else even ships it. We get it — this is hard to do.
We formulate, cook, test, pack, and ship every meal ourselves from our own Miami kitchen. It’s how we make diets other fresh brands can’t.

Two guys who opened a kitchen.
We started Wynwood in 2015 with 2,000 sq.ft, a walk-in cooler, and a few ovens. We just wanted to make the best dog food possible using only whole food ingredients.
Ten years and more than a million meals later, that hasn’t changed.

Dr. Laura formulates every Wynwood recipe, from our Complete & Balanced diets to the full Fresh Rx® line. She reviews test results, updates formulations, and works directly with our veterinary partners.
Our Process
Nobody touches it but us.
Most fresh brands outsource production. We don’t. From formulation to fulfillment, the entire process stays with us.

We formulate it
Every recipe is formulated by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist and a PhD animal nutritionist. We choose ingredients for what they do, not what they cost.

We source it
We use more than 38 whole food ingredients from suppliers we know and trust.

We cook it
We cook every batch ourselves in our own Miami facility.

We test it
Every batch is tested for macro- and micronutrients and pathogens before it ever leaves our facility.

We ship it
We pack it frozen with dry ice and ship it straight from our freezer to your door. No distributor or warehouse in between.

Feeding healthy dogs well is a good business. Feeding sick dogs is why we built this company.
Therapeutic diets are some of the hardest foods in this category to make. They require careful formulation, precise nutrient control, and no shortcuts.
That’s where we’ve put our focus for the last 10 years. We’ve grown through veterinary recommendation, word of mouth, and by building a loyal following in South Florida.
