We want to make sure you always get our Wynwood dog food at its freshest. Because smaller dogs need less food, that means smaller packages to ship, which thaw in transit more quickly.
To work around this, our subscription offer starts at four weeks of dog food for dogs under 10lbs.

How we worked this out
Weight management
Why food is part ofthe treatment.
Your vet has flagged your dog's weight. The obvious move is to feed less of what is already in the bowl, and that is where most weight plans quietly come apart.
A smaller scoop cuts the calories, but it cuts the protein, vitamins and minerals in the same stroke. The dog ends up hungry and short on everything else. A weight diet is built so that the smaller bowl still delivers.
What excess fat does
It is not inert padding. Fat is metabolically active tissue that secretes compounds driving chronic, low-grade inflammation throughout the body. That burdens the joints, strains the heart, and disrupts insulin regulation.
Why nutrition matters
Concentration and volume. Concentrate the nutrition so that a smaller portion is still complete, then use fiber and moisture so that portion still eats like a meal. A dog who finishes full is a dog whose plan survives the week.

Weight + Mobility. No filters. No AI. Just thawed and poured straight from the pack into a bowl.
A lean animal protein. Protein is held high here so weight comes off fat rather than muscle.
A second lean animal protein, so the protein level can stay high without the fat rising with it.
A whole food source of fiber that fills the bowl for very few calories.
A whole grain carbohydrate, digested more slowly than white rice.
Fiber and volume, so the portion stays satisfying as calories come down.
A high moisture vegetable that adds volume to the bowl without adding calories.
A carbohydrate source that also carries fiber and vitamin A.
Everything else on the label, in label order. The oils, the added nutrients and the vitamin and mineral package that finish the formula.

≈kcal per kg
Use this as a starting point, not a number you need to hit exactly. Keep an eye on your dog's weight and body condition, and adjust as needed. You know your dog best.
Storing it
Your food arrives frozen. Keep it in the freezer, then move a packet to the refrigerator the night before you need it. Once thawed, keep it sealed and refrigerated, and use it within five days.
Freezer spaceWhat you may notice
During the first week, you may notice smaller, firmer stools. Some dogs also drink a little less because fresh food contains more moisture. If stools become loose, stay at the last comfortable step of the transition for a few more days before moving forward.
A numberneeds context.
Dog food labels make comparison harder than it should be. We show nutrients in grams per 1,000 calories, so you can see what your dog is really getting.
Dogs need a certain number of calories each day. How much food it takes to provide them depends on the food's moisture and calorie density. Showing nutrients per 1,000 calories makes it easier to see what your dog is actually getting and compare one food with another.
Every number shown here is a measured value, not a label minimum or maximum. It reflects the nutrient levels this recipe was formulated to provide.
